The Challenge
The legacy system was desktop-only, couldn't scale beyond 10,000 users, and required expensive per-seat licenses. Traders demanded mobile access and modern UX while maintaining the speed they relied on for split-second decisions.
Our Solution
We architected a microservices backend with WebSocket-based real-time data streaming, deployed on AWS with auto-scaling Kubernetes clusters. The frontend uses React with a custom virtualized data grid capable of rendering 10,000+ rows at 60fps. Redis caching and PostgreSQL partitioning ensure sub-millisecond query performance.
