The Challenge
Healthcare providers were juggling multiple disconnected systems for scheduling, consultations, records, and billing. Patient data was siloed, leading to duplicate tests and delayed diagnoses. Strict HIPAA compliance requirements added complexity to every technical decision.
Our Solution
We built a unified platform with a microservices architecture, end-to-end encryption, and HL7 FHIR-compliant APIs for EHR integration. The video consultation engine uses WebRTC with adaptive bitrate streaming. An AI module trained on anonymized data assists clinicians with preliminary symptom assessments.
The Outcome
Patient wait times decreased by 67%. Clinic operational efficiency improved by 45%. The platform passed SOC 2 Type II and HIPAA audits on the first attempt. MediFlow secured $28M in Series B funding partly based on the platform's capabilities.
